Before you use a tool

The validators check a number’s format and check digits against published rules, and the calculators do arithmetic on the figures you enter. A pass means the number is well formed, not that the account exists or that a payment will go through.

Common questions

Do these tools cost anything?

No. They are free, with no sign-up and no limit.

Can a validator tell me whether an account exists?

No. A validator checks that a number is well-formed: its length, layout and check digits. Only the bank that holds an account knows whether it is open and whose it is.

Is what I type sent to UnifyPay?

No. Every validator runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent or stored. The only exception is the IFSC branch lookup, which sends the IFSC to Razorpay's public service when you press the button.
